Why register for the Forest of Reading Programs?
Have you heard of the Blue Spruce, Silver Birch, Red Maple, or White Pine Book Awards?  All of these are school-age reading programs to inspire and enhance recreational reading!  Students who participate in these programs vote and choose the recipients of these distinguished awards.  Although this program is offered by the Ontario Library Association, it is open to British Columbia young adults as well.

“The Forest of Reading invites children and young adults to read and vote on their favourite nominated Canadian books.” Read more about the benefits of registering for one or more of the five reading programs for children and young adults HERE
